![]() This period of one and a half months gives swimmers the opportunity to post best times, set school records, and win championships. Pre-requisite: Must be able to swim 25m of a recognizable stroke, then tread water for one minute, all in deep water without assistance.People often associate the months of January and February with cold weather and Valentine’s Day, but for swimmers, it represents championship season. Swimmers will be coached by the same Sea Dragons coaches that work with the full club, and will have the option to participate in the mini meet at the end of the season. The program will focus on personal bests and set youth up for success in the full Swim Club and/or achieving their individual goals. The Sea Dragons Stroke Proficiency Club is designed for youth ages 7-14yrs looking to transition into the full Sea Dragons Swim Club, and/or those hoping to improve their stroke technique whilst getting introduced to dives and turns. Pre-requisite: All swimmers must be able to swim 50m of a recognizable stroke then tread water for one minute, all in deep water without assistance. ![]() ![]() We emphasize skill development based on personal-best achievement, speed, endurance, and most importantly – fun! Our goal is to help instill a lifetime passion for aquatics and spark a higher interest in lifesaving sport. Our knowledgeable coaches will help elevate your stroke technique, develop the necessary skills required to succeed in the Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross – Assistant Lifeguard, and National Lifeguard certification courses. The Sea Dragons Lifesaving Club is directed towards youth ages 9-17yrs caught between levels hoping to reignite their passion for swimming!
